Phu Ninh Lake has been generously blessed by nature with a priceless gift — a natural 70°C hot mineral water source located beneath the lake, which produces today’s bottled Phu Ninh Natural Mineral Water.

Phu Ninh Lake is approximately 23,409 hectares in size, with a storage capacity of 344.106 million cubic meters of water and a water surface area of over 3,400 hectares, making it one of the largest irrigation reservoirs in the Central Highlands and Central Vietnam. The mineral water source was first discovered by French Scientists in the early 20^th century, the French Scientist recognized the rich mineral contents that Phú Ninh Mineral Water Source contains and believed it could bring health value to the community.

On June 15, 2014, the Phu Ninh Mineral Water Factory was officially inaugurated in Trung Dan Hamlet, Tam Dai Commune, Phu Ninh District, Quang Nam Province (now Trung Dan Hamlet, Phu Ninh Commune, Da Nang City). The project is invested and developed by Hung Cuong Tourism Investment Joint Stock Company.

At the inauguration ceremony, leaders of Quang Nam Province, factory representatives, and Mrs. Doan Thi Kim Hong – Miss Universe Vietnam, jointly performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The factory operates on a fully automated, closed production line, featuring internationally certified advanced systems. s. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Phuoc Thanh – Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee – stated:

“The operation of this project not only contributes to local economic and tourism development but also creates stable employment opportunities for local residents.”

Since its inauguration in 2013, the Phu Ninh Mineral Water Factory has undergone a long journey of development, continuously investing in product quality, brand identity, management systems, sales networks, and online ordering platforms. These efforts aim to bring Phu Ninh Mineral Water to the market in a broad yet approachable manner, while remaining consumer-friendly and environmentally responsible.
